Cleator Moor

This is the largest building in the circuit, having a central position in the town hosting civic and ecumenical events.

The church hosts a Friday fellowship Bible Study which has enabled members to grow spiritually. A small membership who are very hard working!

The church rooms are used for various groups and activities, including:

  • Step by Step Dancing school, Mondays 4pm – 9pm
  • Beavers, Thursdays, 6pm – 7pm
  • Cubs, Thursdays, 7:15pm – 8:15pm
  • Scouts, Wednesdays, 7:30pm – 9:00pm
  • The Good as New Shop is open every Friday from 10am; Tea & Coffee are also served.
  • Autism Group hosted by the circuit Child and Family Worker
  • Ecumenical events held at Cleator Moor Methodist Church include Lent Lunches; Remembrance Day Service; Blessing of the Town Christmas Crib.
  • Regular social activities as advertised

Sunday Service is at 11.00 am
5th Sunday services are held as a United Service between the Anglican churches in Cleator, Cleator Moor and Frizington with the Methodist churches in Cleator Moor and Frizington.
