5th Sunday services are held as a united service between the Anglican churches in Cleator, Cleator Moor and Frizington with the Methodist churches in Cleator Moor and Frizington

The church rooms are used for various groups and activities, including:

  • Step by Step Dancing school, Mondays 4pm – 9pm
  • Beavers, Thursdays, 6pm – 7pm
  • Cubs, Thursdays, 7:15pm – 8:15pm
  • Scouts, Wednesdays, 7:30pm – 9:00pm
  • The Good as New Shop is open every Friday from 10am; Tea & Coffee are also served.
  • Autism Group hosted by the circuit Child and Family Worker
  • Ecumenical events held at Cleator Moor Methodist Church include Lent Lunches; Remembrance Day Service; Blessing of the Town Christmas Crib.
  • Regular social activities as advertised

This is the largest building in the circuit, having a central position in the town hosting civic and ecumenical events. In the community for the community. The church hosts a Friday fellowship Bible Study which has enabled members to grow spiritually.
